And Another...

We had yet another wonderful baby shower last weekend! We are really SO lucky to have such generous family and friends. This one was thrown by RJ's family. They all came in town and we met at Coppermill for lunch and fun...also followed by a fun weekend of games, lots of eating....so fun!

Unfortunately I did not do a stellar job taking pictures-so I don't have a whole lot! But we got some great gifts-cute outfits including baby's first halloween, some Boise State onesies from Bill and Amy (for the moment of truth in November when all are here again- will Baby wear USU or BSU gear?), a big cozy hooded towel made by Sara's talented mom, diapers (can't get enough of those!), gift cards (again, plenty to still stock up on, so can't get enough of those!), a beautiful shelf for Baby's room made by Edna and Kami (pics to come...we can't find the level to hang it up, and no one wants a crooked shelf!), a sweet baby book....

RJ's dad is apparently a game show host on the side...he held up some towels and said, "We're going to play 'Let's Make a Deal'...you can have these nice towels, or... you can have whatever is in the trunk of the car!" Although the towels were lovely, I went with the trunk option where I found...a stroller!

RJ's mom has saved a few of his nice oufits and blankets- I was so happy to get those! I wanted to ask her if she had saved his blessing outfit, but hadn't...and she did! So... we were lucky enough to get his beautiful knitted outift that he wore 30 years ago! And some nice blankets that his grandmother made, and a bib that his great-grandmother made. I'm so happy that RJ's mom has saved them in great condition for our sweet baby to benefit from too.

We had a great weekend, and it was so kind of everyone to come from so far...Ogden, Boise, Wyoming....just to celebrate with us! The next time we see them all Baby Will/Drew/Cal will be here too! AH....so excited! Only 17 more days....
