Has anyone seen these?! It's dog ice cream...and it's great because Dizzy loves it and because it takes her a long time to eat. So I can give her one then duck out the door without making eye contact and feeling guilty for leaving her home.

ReplyDelete"Without making eye contact," you crack me up! That's so like my mom. The guilt a lonely dog can give is really there.
ReplyDeleteMy mom saves table scraps and throws them out on the patio for the dog to chase so she can leave for work undetected (and yet she microwaves them before throwing them on the cement.) So funny, but yes, a kind and tenderhearted way to be.
Here's a funnier one: my mother-in-law puts parmesan cheese on her dog's food because the stupid chihuahua won't eat without it. Hmm, how did she ever get to be so spoiled—I mean picky?
But as my mom says, "Dogs are people too." That sums puppy love up right there :)
