It's time...

I need maternity clothes! The regular people kind just aren't cutting it anymore...as evidenced by the marks left on my belly after I struggle out of my jeans....like they've been permanently indented all day into my belly. Because they have.

So....all you moms out there....
Where do you get yours?
Certain brands/stores you like/dislike?
Advice for the rookie here!

  1. I really liked Motherhood Maternity because they had a lot of different kind of pants and the prices are very reasonable. My favorite were the kind with the half panel. That means that the stretchy stuff is more on top of the tummy than the whole thing. You'll see what I mean when you start looking. I also loved Ross. I found some very cute shirts at very good prices. Have fun shopping!

  2. Although I hate spending a lot of money on maternity clothes because 9 months really does go by faster than expected, I always invest in a good pair of maternity jeans and capris and T shirts from Motherhood Maternity!!!

  3. Yes, also love Motherhood Maternity. And they have a line at Kohl's so I think it is a little less $$$. And you are still welcome to borrow any of mine if they fit. :)

  4. I liked Old Navy and Gap maternity. It's kind of a pain because you have to buy online and return through the mail if it doesn't work, but the clothes are affordable and they had some cute stuff. I also got some dress pants from Target.

  5. Target and Motherhood Maternity. I felt they had the most reasonable prices. I loved the 'secret fit belly' at motherhood; it goes all the way up your belly but I thought it was the most comfortable. They had cute dresses too. I really didn't like Old Navy; their stuff fit me kindof weird. Happy shopping!

  6. Alright so maybe I am just really picky...I know that I am. But when I have been pregnant I feel like I can't find anything that I like in the maternity shops.

But then when I am not pregnant I see lots of other pregnant ladies that look amazing and super cute in their motherhood maternity clothes.

With Gwen and Harrison when I finally had to break down and buy bigger clothes I actually just got stuff that I liked in regular stores, but in lots bigger sizes.

But as for pants, you are either going to have to go the panel way or the kind that sit on your hips, under the belly. I am with Brynn I didn't really like the fit of anything from Old Navy, except a pair of maternity work out/yoga pants, all the regular clothes just didn't really fit.

Good luck Katie, I know that you will find some great stuff.
