Totally bugs me when people say, "I could care less..."
If you could care less, then you still care...
which is the opposite of what you (probably) mean.
It makes sense to say, "I couldn't care less..."
Then you don't care at all.
That is all.
Oh...and the sugar-free monthly resolution is going well!
Except...maybe this is why this pet peeve is bugging me so much.
Maybe I should just go eat a cookie....

ReplyDeleteOoh- yes! "I walked acrost the yard..." blah! Another one- (maybe this is a Utah thing?)... At Sabor, a lot of people pronounce salsa "saltsa".... ANNOYING! There's no t in salsa!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. Saltsa. Ugh! I think that is a Utah thing. The hard consonant when there shouldn't be one and then totally dropping them when they should!
