Big Eater

Look who eats squash now!
And peas...and bananas....
We definitely do not have a picky eater, he seems to love it all so far!

Check out that squashy drool...yum!

He gets so excited about the spoon coming near that he either
tries to grab it himself or nosedives into it...thus the squash up his nose!

So maybe I'm a little...or a lot....dense.
The other day I was playing Scrabble online (I was sick...lots of time on my hands) and put together the word "doing"

...and was surprised when it got points

...because I read it as in it rhymed with boing....picture a spring.... Yikes.

Scare you that I'm a teacher? Me too. It gets worse.

The next day I was watching American Idol and a guy was wearing a shirt that said, "Weapon of Choice". I could not for the life of me figure it out...because I was reading weapon like "weep on"....

Yikes.

Easter Hat!

Will got some mail from Grandma and Grandpa Steuri...
He was pretty excited about a new corner of something to chew on.

He loved this sight of it...and the taste of it even more!
He wanted the WHOLE thing in his mouth!

He was cuddling with it, and I sat him up and took the hat. This is the reaction I got...

So...thanks mom and dad! The hat is a success!

Baptism

So...after my gushing post from earlier...a lot of friends and fam have asked if they could come! Of course! I'll warn you now, it's going to be short and sweet....so no worries!

It's at the Logan Tabernacle...on Main Street, between Center and 100 South.
It's at 2:00.
I totally wanted to have a classic Mormon buffet after...green jello, sloppy joes, yellow jello, a million salads, orange jello with carrots and marshmallows....

But...RJ said no! (lame!) So we're opting for having lunch at Cafe Sabor afterwards. Nothing fancy, just meeting for lunch. So if you're into baptisms and burritos, come on down!

Really Jake? Really?

Jake..."She makes me feel like I'm the only man in the room." Um...you are.

"Tenley has a lot of life experience." as in...baggage.

Vienna, "She's really smart, she's absolutely drop-dead gorgeous." Um...are we talking the place or the person?

ha...Jake warns his fam about Vienna before she even gets there! Then questions himself....

Ok Tenley really is really cheesy...her little compliment to J's dad as she pats his arm!

"Have you been out of the country?" Vienna: "I've been road-tripping in an RV!"

Then goes on to say how all the girls hated her from the beginning...and America too. Impressive.

Vienna's dinner with the fam...AWKWARD silences!

"She didn't come here to make friends"...but shouldn't any decent person still make friends when they go places...

"I feel like I'm trying to talk people into Vienna..." You are.

Vienna's roots...ew.

Jake's sis-in-laws are so cute.

I can admire Vienna's honesty..."If that's what Jake wants, I'm not the girl for him."

Ok poor Tenley. Break my heart. Love her dress though.

Ok Vienna makes me crazy...but the craziest thing about her?
